The so-called Al-Aqsa Mosque in Kabul is actually a version or mosque inspired by the name of the real Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem and is located in the center of Kabul city — this mosque is newer and was built with the support of local people and institutions to strengthen solidarity with Palestine and Islamic identity.
