This high school is one of the well-known public schools in Herat city that provides secondary education (high school) and is named after Sultan Ghiyathuddin Ghori, one of the historical rulers of the region.
In recent years, a new building for this high school (10 classes) has been inaugurated in the presence of officials from the Ministry of Education, which indicates attention to the development of educational facilities in this school.
There have also been reports that the local community has helped improve educational conditions in this school with the help of equipment (such as tables and chairs).
